RA Financial Ombudsman submitted report for April 2009May 13, 2009 - 19:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In April 2009, RA Financial Ombudsman's Office received claims from 35 citizens complaining about financial organizations' activity.According to the report, 21 claims were not subject to consideration under the existing law. As regards the remaining 14 claims, only 2 of them were submitted in written form. Three claimants filing oral complaints were informed about their rights and obligations; the office staff also negotiated with relevant financial organizations. As a result, all three claims were satisfied without formal review. Of the 6 written claims filed in March 2009, 1 was dismissed and 3 were satisfied through signing reconciliation agreement between client and financial organization. With regard to the other 2 claims, relevant negotiations are in process. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision.
