  Armenia win 3 gold medals at European Junior Boxing Championships July 1, 2024 - 14:27 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has three world champions after the European Junior Boxing Championships held in Sarajevo over the past week. Hamest Afrikyan defeated Italy’s Giorgia la Rosa in the women’s 48kg contest to win gold on Sunday, June 30. In the men’s 48kg final as Simon Simonyan won unanimously over Nihat Gasimov from Azerbaijan, while Samvel Siramargyan won the men’s 75kg final over Arsenii Stolnikov. Elsewhere in the tournament, Artyom Stepanyan, Aleks Petrosyan, Arno Darchinyan, Tihran Ovsepian, Syuzanna Ishkhanyan, Martin Sahakyan – won silver, while Hrach Khachatryan snatched bronze.
