Balasanyan shares letter addressed to Putin, Aliyev, Pashinyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Former Artsakh security council secretary Vitaly Balasanyan published a letter sent on November 21, 2024, to the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia.

Addressed to the signatories of the November 9, 2020, trilateral statement—Vladimir Putin, Ilham Aliyev, and Nikol Pashinyan—the letter emphasized the importance of Artsakh Armenians returning to their homeland. Balasanyan urged an organized return process and security guarantees for Artsakh residents, in line with the UN Charter.

In September 2023, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack on Artsakh, forcing over 100,000 Armenians to flee to Armenia.
