EU mission visits Martuni, monitors border

PanARMENIAN.Net - Markus Ritter, head of the EU mission in Armenia, joined the Martuni patrol unit to monitor the situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, according to a statement on the EU Monitoring Mission’s official account on X.

He also expressed gratitude to local residents for their hospitality and coffee.

"The EU Mission in Armenia is proud of the community’s trust and remains committed to ensuring security in the region," the statement reads.

The EU mission's mandate in Armenia has been extended for another two years, until February 2027.
