However, I did meet with the U.S. Vice President. This was the final event of my visit on its last day,” Pashinyan said. He emphasized that the discussion was "lengthy, detailed, and productive." Pashinyan was also asked about concerns that the new U.S. administration might not implement the strategic cooperation charter between Armenia and the United States. He responded that such issues should be approached pragmatically, avoiding both excessive enthusiasm and unwarranted concerns. “The document was signed during a transitional period when transition teams were being formed. The key point is that the previous administration was as involved as the new one. If the new administration had not been interested, this would not have happened,” Pashinyan noted. On February 7, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the U.S. Vice President at the White House in Washington.
