Parg to represent Armenia at Eurovision 2025

Armenia will be represented at Eurovision 2025 by Parg (Pargev Vardanyan), who will perform his song "Survivor" at the contest.

The winner was selected through a combined vote by Public Television of Armenia, an international jury, and televoters after the grand final of Depi Evratesil, which took place on February 16 at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. The event was broadcast live on Public Television.

Parg won with 210 points.

He stated that he will take part in the competition with great responsibility, promising to deliver double the energy to the audience and viewers, Armenpress reports.

During the press conference following the Depi Evratesil final, parg emphasized that he worked with a talented team, resulting in the creation of "Survivor".

"I have so many emotions; I am happy and grateful to everyone who voted for me. Thanks to my friends, my wife, and my team—without them, I couldn’t have conveyed this energy. I am hardworking and ready to improve my performance and bring double the energy to the Eurovision stage," said Parg.

He noted that his victory was not a surprise, as he felt the support and positive reactions from fans regarding both himself and his song. However, during his performance at the Depi Evratesil final, he did not focus on winning but rather on delivering a strong performance and sharing positive energy with the audience.

"I have a song called 'Arrach' (Forward). Its message is that we should not look back but move forward. 'Survivor' is like a continuation of that song—it encourages perseverance and holding onto the light. I was inspired by different artists and music, and we created the song based on that," said Parg.

Other participants in the national selection included Athena Manoukian, Anahit Adamyan, Anahit & Gasoyan, Arsen Grigoryan & Kamil Project, Gevorg Harutyunyan, Mels Danielyan, Milena Mirijanyan, Simon, Sevaguir, Flora Bichakhchyan, and ALTSIGHT.

The Eurovision 2025 contest will take place in Basel, Switzerland, in May. Switzerland earned the right to host the event after Swiss artist Nemo's victory in 2024.
