Yerevan living costs surpass Moscow and Beijing

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan's living costs exceed those of Moscow, Tbilisi, Batumi, Beijing, Rio de Janeiro, Budapest, Baku, and several other major cities. This was reported by former MP Armen Yeghiazaryan, citing data from the "Cost of Living Plus Rent Index by City 2025" study.

According to the ranking, Yerevan is the most expensive city in the region, ranking 179th globally. In comparison, living is more affordable in Moscow (210th), Ankara (214th), Tbilisi (222nd), Baku (256th), Batumi (257th), and Tehran (267th), as reported by Panorama.am .

Yerevan also surpasses Beijing (184th), Warsaw (181st), Buenos Aires (196th), Budapest (200th), São Paulo (243rd), Rio de Janeiro (269th), Minsk (281st), and Novosibirsk (303rd) in living costs.

The highest living expenses worldwide have been recorded in New York, San Francisco, Zurich, Geneva, Boston, Singapore, Washington, and several other major cities.
