Party leader urges international response to Vardanyan statement

PanARMENIAN.Net - The leader of the Country to Live party, Mane Tandilyan, has sent letters to the ambassadors accredited in Armenia regarding the statement addressed to the international community by Ruben Vardanyan, the former state minister of Artsakh currently imprisoned in Baku. She announced this in a Facebook post.

According to Tandilyan, this statement was made during Vardanyan’s phone conversation with his family and was intended to protest the fake "trial" against him.

"The international community can and must take urgent steps to secure the immediate release of our compatriots held in Baku prisons.

In this situation, silence is as condemnable as the crime itself," her post reads.
