Armenian defense official visits Greek military academy![]() March 3, 2025 - 12:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan, First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, visited Greece's Army Military Academy during an official trip, where he met with the academy's head, Major General Anastasios Polychronos. Asryan and his delegation toured the academy’s facilities, familiarizing themselves with the structure of the training programs, educational curricula, and material resources. They also met with Armenian cadets studying at the academy. Additionally, a delegation from the Armenian General Staff, led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Major General Artur Yeroyan, visited the Hellenic National Defense General Staff. The visit included discussions on Armenia-Greece defense cooperation. Both sides highly valued the current level of collaboration between the two countries and agreed to exchange expertise in areas of mutual interest. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
