Vache Tovmasyan about Oscars: I don't know what I feel

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian actor Vache Tovmasyan, who starred alongside Karen Karagulyan in American director Sean Baker's film "Anora," which received five Oscars, expressed that he cannot articulate his emotions.

The Armenian actors attended the awards ceremony. Tovmasyan shared photos and videos from the event on his Instagram page.

"I don't know what to say, folks. I don't know what I feel," he noted in one of his posts.

"Anora" became the winner of the 97th Academy Awards in five categories, including Best Picture. Sean Baker, who directed the film, was recognized as Best Director. The title of Best Actress was awarded to Mikey Madison.

The film also received awards in the categories of Best Editing and Best Original Screenplay.

For the title of Best Picture of the year, "Anora" competed with "The Brutalist," "Complete Unknown," "Conclave," "Dune: Part Two," "Emilia Perez," "I'm Still Here," "Nickel Boys," "Substance," and "The Evil."

"Anora" had also received the Palme d'Or at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
