Musk proposes amnesty for Zelensky in neutral country

PanARMENIAN.Net - Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has suggested that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should be granted amnesty in a neutral country to enable a peaceful transition back to democracy in Ukraine. Musk made this proposal in a post on X, where he commented on a statement accusing Zelensky of prolonging the war to maintain power.

Musk wrote, "As distasteful as it is, Zelensky should be offered some kind of amnesty in a neutral country in exchange for a peaceful transition back to democracy in Ukraine."

This suggestion comes amid increasing pressure on Zelensky from U.S. President Donald Trump and his supporters, who have labeled the Ukrainian leader a dictator and criticized his reluctance to engage in peace talks. Trump recently warned that Zelensky "won’t be around very long" if he does not agree to a peace deal and has halted all U.S. military aid to Ukraine.

Musk's proposal reflects a broader critique from those who believe that Zelensky's refusal to engage in peace negotiations could escalate the conflict and jeopardize Ukraine's future. The ongoing war has resulted in significant casualties and displacement, prompting calls for a diplomatic resolution to restore stability in the region.
