Armenian official discusses partnership expansion in Geneva

PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 4, Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Geneva and other international organizations, Ambassador Hasmik Tolmajyan, met with Christine Kitsos, Mayor of Geneva, and Nathalie Fontanet, President of the State Council of the Republic and Canton of Geneva, according to the Armenian Embassy in Switzerland.

During the meeting, the sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Armenia and Canton of Geneva. Both parties highlighted the need to strengthen diplomatic, cultural, and economic ties.

Tolmajyan expressed gratitude to the Geneva canton and city authorities for various initiatives demonstrating solidarity with the Armenian people, as well as for the humanitarian aid provided to displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh and their attention to the rights of Armenian prisoners of war and civilians illegally held in Azerbaijan.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Tolmajyan signed the honorary guest book of Geneva.
