Armenian wrestler claims European title, two others win medals

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian wrestler Lyovik Mikayelyan won the European Championship in the 61 kg category at the U23 Freestyle Wrestling European Championships, held in Tirana, Albania, according to the Wrestling Federation of Armenia.

In the final, he defeated Azerbaijan's Jeyhun Allahverdiyev with a score of 2:1.

Armenian athletes secured two more medals.

Wrestler Knyaz Iboyan (92 kg) won a silver medal at the championship.

In the 125 kg category, Khachatur Khachatryan dominated his opponent with a 10:0 victory, earning a bronze medal.
