Earthquake recorded 13 km from Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 12, at 17:10 local time (13:10 GMT), Armenia's Seismic Protection Service under the Ministry of Internal Affairs recorded an earthquake 13 km southwest of Yerevan at a depth of 10 km, with a magnitude of 2.7.

In the epicentral zone, the tremors reached an intensity of 3-4 on the MSK scale.

The earthquake was felt in Yerevan and the Kotayk region with an intensity of 2-3.

Tremors were registered at the geographical coordinates of 40.13° N latitude and 44.38° E longitude.
