Armenia agrees to final terms in peace deal

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced that negotiations on the text of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia have concluded. He noted that the Armenian side has accepted the last two previously unresolved points.

"The work on the text is complete. In the next phase, Azerbaijan expects Armenia to remove territorial claims against Azerbaijan from its Constitution. Additionally, the Minsk Group and its remnants should be dissolved," he stated.

The draft peace agreement consists of 17 points, of which 15 had been agreed upon earlier. One of the unresolved points was the mutual renunciation of international claims against each other, and the other was the non-deployment of representatives from other countries on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border.
