Pashinyan congratulates Canada’s new Prime Minister

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Canada’s new Prime Minister Mark Carney on his appointment.

In the message, Pashinyan highlighted the traditional friendship between Armenia and Canada, built on mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation.

He stressed that Armenia attaches great importance to the continuous development of bilateral ties and expressed confidence that through joint efforts, cooperation in the economy, high technologies, education, and other sectors can be further strengthened for the benefit of both countries.

The Prime Minister also stated his readiness to work closely with Mark Carney on all aspects of the bilateral agenda.

Pashinyan wished Canada’s Prime Minister good health and success, and prosperity and peace to the Canadian people.

Mark Carney, the new leader of Canada’s Liberal Party and former governor of the Bank of Canada, assumed office as Prime Minister on March 14.
