Moscow inquires Yerevan on potential U.S. military equipment move

PanARMENIAN.Net - Moscow has formally requested Yerevan to provide details regarding reported U.S. plans to relocate military equipment to Armenian territory, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.

"We saw the publication and swiftly sent an inquiry to our Armenian colleagues. We were told that Armenia did not receive any official information from the U.S," she stated during a briefing.

She noted that if such reports are confirmed, the move would be seen as a destabilizing factor for the security and stability of the South Caucasus and an attempt by the collective West to introduce elements of confrontation into the region.
