During the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili met with Numan Kurtulmuş, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. According to APA, the two officials agreed to create a new Georgia-Turkey-Azerbaijan parliamentary format in the near future. Numan Kurtulmuş also extended an official invitation to Shalva Papuashvili to visit Turkey. In addition, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the strategic partnership between Georgia and Turkey. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
