The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Armenia published a message on its official Facebook page on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

“We mourn together with the Armenian people,” the post reads, referring to the Day of Remembrance for the victims of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire.

The Russian State Duma officially recognized the Armenian Genocide on April 14, 1995.
