PREPARATION TO PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS CONTINUES IN NAGORNO KARABAKH

PanARMENIAN.Net - The process of running for President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic will begin June 27. Let us remind, that the next elections of the head of the Karabakh state will be held August 11. The registration of candidates will be held July 17-22, which will take place on the basis of the political parties or as civil initiative. To register one's candidature it is needed to gather no less than 1.5 thousand signatures. At the same time the lists of the persons should include the residents of at least four regions of the Republic. The pre-electoral agitation will start July 23 and will finish August 10. The preliminary results of the elections will be made public by the Central electoral commission in 28 hours after starting the procedure of counting the votes, and the final results will be announced in 72 hours.
