Mass migration not fixed in Armenia in January-March
Mass migration was not fixed in Armenia in January-March, said Gagik Yeganyan, head of migration department at the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration.
"Majority of our citizens abroad live in Russia. We had a meeting with members of the Russian migration service to discuss ways to assist the highly qualified specialists who have already integrated into the Russian society," he told reporters today.
Yeganyan is optimistic and hopes that the "world economy is getting out of the crisis."
However, he said that some 30-35 thousand of people who usually left Armenia for seasonal works will stay in the republic and join the ranks of the unemployed.
