NATIONAL PRESS CLUB MARKED INTERNATIONAL PRESS FREEDOM DAY BY DEMONSTRATIONMay 4, 2002 - 00:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The National Press Club of Armenia marked the international day of press freedom by a demonstration under "No censorship" slogan. The action initiators demand immobilization of the bill of law on mass information, review of the results of the contest for the right to broadcast on the 37-decimeter frequency. The demonstration started from the Press House and finished near the President's residence. By the way the procession, in which some hundred people participated, paused near the buildings of the Ministries of Justice and Foreign Affairs, Embassies of France and USA and the National Assembly.
