Samvel Khachatryan: We are properly to prepare for European Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Despite the shortage of funds, the forthcoming tournament European Youth Judo Championship will be held at the highest level, RA Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Samvel Khachatryan told a press conference today.



"Although the Armenian Government gave us 50 million AMD for the championship, which are insufficient for such a large-scale event, organizing committee headed by the RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan makes every effort to held the championship at a highest level," Mr. Khachatryan said.



The National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs of Armenia also help in organizational issues.



Judoists from 40 countries will take part in the European Youth Judo Championships, to be held September 11-13 in Yerevan.
