Ameriabank to open more branches in Armenia
Ameriabank plans to broaden the sphere of its activities throughout Armenia, the bank's General director Artak Hanesyan told journalists today, adding that one of new branches will open in Kapan. "The bank currently determines the location of Kapan branch. We attach much significance to the development of Syunik region since the country's most important enterprises are situated there," he noted.
Retail Department Head Vazrik Sekoyan added in turn that the results of thorough regional studies showed a high demands for banking services. He finds that the newly opened branch in Kajaran will satisfy the demand of the biggest corporate client - Kajaran's copper-molybdenum factory, as well as its employees and partners.
The bank is currently carrying out work towards opening a branch in Dilijan. Next year, it plans to open Gyumri and Vanadzor branches, in addition to a new branch in Yerevan, General Director said.
