RA Honorary Consulate opens in KharkovSeptember 26, 2009 - 12:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has opened its honorary consulate in Kharkov. The new diplomatic representation will cooperate with Kharkov and Sumsky regions.Cooperation mostly aims at developing cultural and economic ties. The former implies opening of Armenian cultural centre, Honorary Consul Armen Aslanyan says. Besides, parties conduct talks over the joint activities of two countries' industrial enterprises. "I see long-term prospects in pharmaceutics which is developed in Armenia. We conduct talks for opening relevant representation offices in Armenia and Kharkov," said the diplomat. Consulate also plans to establish cooperation with Kharkov universities. Most Armenian students want to major in economics and law in Ukrainian capital, Analitika.at.ua. reports. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
