OFFICIAL YEREVAN HOPES SITUATION IN GEORGIA NOT TO BRING TO NEW WAR

PanARMENIAN.Net - Georgia "is not going to deploy troops in Abkhaizia". Georgian parliament chairwoman Nino Burjanadze has stated it today at the press conference in Saint Petersburg. The official Yerevan does not consider the threat of recommencement of military operations in Abkhazia real either. While commenting the reports of several media regarding the possibility of the start of a new war in Abkhazia, defense minister of Armenia Serge Sarkisian has stated the situation in Georgia should not be considered as dangerous one. According to him, "instability in Georgia, of course, affects the situation in Armenia but there is no reason for alarm".
