Over nine months Ameriabank obtained
Ameriabank ranks third in the banking system of Armenia by the net profit obtained over the nine month of this year. Within the mentioned period of time the bank received 1.1 billion AMD of net profit, press office of Ameriabank reports.
48 per cent of the profits account for the third quarter. Compared with the same period of last year the net profit of the bank doubled this year, while net interest and related income increased by 97 per cent and operating income grew by 87 per cent.
Over the first nine months of 2009 the expenditure for income tax amounted to 396 million AMD against 135 million for the same period in 2008.
