ASALA will exist unless Armenian historical lands are returned
Oukht Ararati bears no relation to ASALA, said Tigran Pashabezyan, Oukht Ararati coordinator dealing with former prisoners, members of ASALA.
"ASALA is and will be a secret organization. It will exist unless Armenian historical lands are returned," he said.
According to Pashabezyan, Oukht Ararati's goal is prevention of ratification of Armenian-Turkish protocols and formation of common Armenian defense.
For his part, founder and commander of Hoktemberyan division of the Armenian Army of Independence Lyova Sahakyan commented on description of the organization as terrorist, "I prefer to be named aggressor rather than beggar."
