Armen Gevorgyan: we work to make handball more popular in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian handball team coach Armen Gevorgyan said the game is not so popular in the republic.

"There are only four clubs participating in the Armenian championship but we are planning to increase their number," he said when commenting on the outcomes of IHF/EHF Men's Challenge Trophy/2009 held in Moldova.

"Our 4th position is justified. We are training to participate in international and European competitions like Challenge Cup and are hopeful that we will play better in some 3 or 4 years," he said.
