PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS TO TAKE PLACE IN NKR IN SUMMER

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Presidential elections will take place in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in 2002, summer. According to NKR Central election committee chairman Sergey Davidian, according to the acting legislation the elections must take place August 11. The decision regarding the date of the elections must be passed by the parliament of the republic 85 days before the elections. As «Arminfo» agency reports, after the decision is passed by the parliament, the central election committee will start developing of the plan of the events for organization and holding of the elections at the highest level.
