German Embassy to cooperate with Yerevan universities

PanARMENIAN.Net - German Ambassador to Armenia Hans-Jochen Schmidt met Tuesday with Yerevan State Linguistic University (YSLU) students.



During the meeting, rector Suren Zolyan introduced the guest to the problems concerning German language teaching at university.



The Ambassador, for his part, informed about the Embassy's plans to establish a German club which will cooperate with several universities of Yerevan.



Touching on the ongoing Armenian-Turkish process, the German diplomat voiced hope for opening of the border in the near future.



YSLU rector honored the guest with a commemorative medal dedicated to the 70th anniversary of University establishment.
