GEORGIAN PARLIAMENT EX-SPEAKER THINKS JAVAKHETIA DANGEROUS REGION TILL RUSSIAN MILITARY BASE IN AKHALKALAKI

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Javakhetia remains a dangerous region till there is a Russian military base in Akhalkalaki", stated the ex-chairman of the Georgian parliament, deputy Zurab Jvania. Jvania thinks possible existence of direct relations between the Armenian radical organizations' claims regarding autonomy for Javakhetia and activities of "several groups not only outside Georgia and but also within the State". As "Prime-News" agency reports Zurab Jvania included in the delegation that visited the US, said that the influential Armenian lobby in the USA had recently made statements against the policy of Georgian authorities as well as the policy regarding the Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan oil pipeline construction and the withdrawal of Russian military bases from the State territory.
