  Outraged Azeri MPs issue address to U.S. President and CongressDecember 16, 2009 - 17:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Outraged by the U.S. decision to allocate $8 million to Nagorno Karabakh, Azerbaijani parliament members issued an address to the U.S. President and Congress. The MPs called on Mr. Obama "to impose veto on the decision".The U.S. House and Senate agreed upon a far-reaching Fiscal Year 2010 spending measure that includes a $41 million economic aid package for Armenia, $8 million for "programs and activities" in Karabakh. Parity in military aid to Armenia and Azerbaijan was also maintained. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive.
