ARMENIA-IRAN-GREECE TRILATERAL COOPERATION EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO MEET IN YEREVANFebruary 11, 2002 - 22:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The regular sixth meeting of the executive committee of Armenia-Iran-Greece trilateral cooperation will take place in Yerevan. The delegations will be leaded by Armenian deputy foreign minister Armen Martirosian, Irani deputy foreign minister Mohammad Adeli and secretary general of the ministry of foreign affairs of Greece Georgis Savadis. The course of the work on the realization of the project of the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline construction in which Greek side is taking indirect part is planned to be discussed at the meeting. The issues concerning the development of transport communications, the expansion of cooperation in energy sphere, partnership in development of Irani coal deposits, Meghri-Marand optical-fiber cable installation and also the possibilities of establishment of joint enterprises in deferent spheres of economy will be also touched. According to the results of the meeting memorandum on mutual understanding will be signed.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
