WIFE OF LEADER OF NATIONAL LIBERATION MOVEMENT OF TALISH PEOPLE ALIKRAM GUMMATOV CALLED ON COUNCIL OF EUROPE TO MAKE AZERBAIJAN RELEASE ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Living in the Netherlands, the wife of the leader of unrecognized Talish-Mugan Republic Alikram Gummatov Sudaba Rasulova has called on the world community to strive for discharge of political prisoners in Azerbaijan. In her open letter to the Council of Europe, the US Senate, right defending organizations, members of the Council of Europe and the leaders of countries, Sudaba Rasulova accuses Heydar Aliyev of suppression of freedom and democracy in the country and calls upon the interested countries and organizations not to ignore illegality for economic and political interests in Azerbaijan. Rasulova equals Heydar Aliyev with Miloshevich and Pinoshet accusing him of loot of national resources of the country. The stability and democracy in Azerbaijan, about which Aliyev likes to speak, in reality are nothing more than fiction. The recognition of the fact that there are political prisoners and regular popular disturbances by the Council of Europe disproves the lie of the official Baku. «If anything happens to my husband, I will think that not only Baku leaders but also all the countries cooperating with Azerbaijan are responsible for that», states Sudaba Rasulova in the conclusion of her letter. It should be reminded that the leader of National liberation movement of Talish people Alikram Gummatow was arrested for a faked case and is serving his sentence. The head of Talish-Mugan Republic is one of the eleven political prisoners, the discharge of which is demanded from official Baku by the Council of Europe.
