NEGOTIATIONS BETWEEN ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT AND "ARMENTEL" COMPANY HAVE NOT RESULTED IN ANYTHING YET

PanARMENIAN.Net - The term of negotiations between the Armenian Government and the management of "ArmenTel" telecommunication monopolist company will expire in two days. Judging from the comments on the course of negotiations made by its immediate participants, the consultations already continuing almost two months have not bring to any concrete results yet. But Minister of Justice David Harutyunian, who represented the Government at the negotiations, did not rule out the opportunity of extending the term of consultations. He refrained from estimating the results of the negotiations, pleading they were still continuing. Let us remind that Minister of Transport and Communication Andranik Manukian stated lately that in case the parties did not manage to arrive at a mutually acceptable compromise, the Government would keep the ban for introducing payment by minute for city internal telephone calls.
