COOPERATION MEMORANDUM SIGNED BY ARMENIAN AND US DEFENSE DEPARTMENTSJune 17, 2003 - 19:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Memorandum on cooperation between the Armenian and US defense ministries is signed in Yerevan. The document was signed upon the completion of the second sitting on Armenian-American defense consultations held in Yerevan June 14-16. According to the memorandum, the cooperation will be one of the basic elements of security interaction between the defense ministries of Armenia and the US. The next sitting, as reported by "Arminfo" agency, will be held in US next spring. Before that, a program of strategic interaction will be signed between the defense department of Armenia and the US command of armed forces in Europe.
