Brandy production decreases by 38.4 % in Armenia

Brandy production decreased by 38.4 % in Armenia in 2009, totaling 9 mln 869 thousand liters.



According to the data provided by the RA National Statistical Service, the output of alcoholic beverages increased by 7.7 % (13 mln 146 thousand liters). Wine production increased by 30.8% (4 mln 372 thousand liters), beer production increased by 2.8 % (10 mln 825 thousand liters). At that, champagne output decreased by 1.7 % and made 456,4 thousand liters.
