New electronic Translator from Western Armenian to Eastern Armenian developed

The issue of unified school textbooks both for Armenia and Diaspora will be discussed at the scientific conference from May 29 to 31 in Yerevan, " Hranush Hakobyan, RA Diaspora Minister, told a news conference in Yerevan.



"Armenian schools in different countries use a variety of manuals and the knowledge of particlarly the Western Armenian language deteriorated. We intend to create textbooks, which will receive state guarantees and will be introduced in the Armenian schools throughout the world, " she explained.



A new electronic Translator from Western Armenian to Eastern Armenian has been developed reecntly. The dictionary contains more than 55 000 words and will be presented on February 19. The event will be attended by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.



The minister also informed that the conference on preserving of the Armenian identity in mixed families will be held between April 25 and 26 in Yerevan.
