Armenia attaches importance to developing relations with Algeria

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the newly appointed Ambassador of Algeria to Armenia Smail Shergie (Residence in Moscow), who submitted his credentials to the Foreign Minister of Armenia. Congratulating the Ambassador, RA Foreign Minister attached great importance to Armenia's relations with Arab countries, particularly with Algeria.

Smail Shergie assured that he would make every effort for the development of bilateral relations. The officials attached importance to establishment of legal framework, economic cooperation and cultural exchanges.



They touched upon issues of cooperation in the framework of international organizations, as well as exchanged views on regional and international issues of bilateral interest, press service of RA Foreign Ministry reported.
