Armenians protest foreign language schools establishment

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Assembly's Education and Science Committee is discussing a draft bill on introduction of amendments to the RA laws on language and general education, envisaging establishment of foreign language schools in Armenia.

The discussion was scheduled for 11 am, yet started an hour later.

Meanwhile, people gathered at the RA parliamentary building to protest the initiative. Leaflets calling for dismissal of RA Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan and rejection of the draft bill were distributed.
