Strengthening of relations with Arab countries among Armenia’s foreign policy prioritiesJune 18, 2010 - 16:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A delegation of the League of Arab States (LAS) headed by Director of Europe and Arab cooperation department Faris Abdul Karim was on a visit to Armenia on June 15-16 to hold consultations on memorandum of understanding between Armenia and the LAS. During the visit, the delegation met with Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Armen Rustamyan and Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakossian, who named strengthening of relations with Arab countries among priorities of the Armenian foreign policy. Besides, the parties agreed to continue cooperation within international organizations on issues of mutual interest, the RA MFA press service reported. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
