Azeri subversive attack meant to cause panic

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy Director of Caucasus Institute, political analyst Sergey Minasyan stated that Azeri recon element’s attempt to potentate in Artsakh aimed to create panic and justify Azerbaijan’s bellicose hysteria.

According to him, the attack came up as the result the St. Petersburg meeting, which was not positive for Azerbaijan.

“I suppose this incident will entail statements by the OSCE Minsk Group and Russia separately,” he said.

Minasyan emphasized that the outcome of the clash should be viewed as failure of the Armenian side and voiced confidence that Azerbaijan provides untrue information on losses.

“This incident will not force Armenia quit the negotiations, which proceeds from interests of Armenia and NKR while Azerbaijan’s attempts to frustrate the process will hardly produce any result,” he concluded.
