RA Police denies information on deportation of 5909 Armenian citizens from Turkey

PanARMENIAN.Net - RA Police denied Turkish the media-circulated information on deportation of 5909 Armenian citizens from Turkey.

“According to statistics, about 50 RA citizens are annually deported from Turkey,” RA Police statement said.

Concerning reports on Armenian citizens engaged in prostitution in Turkey, RA Police noted that Armenian law enforcement agencies jointly with Interpol Central Bureau in RA cooperate with Turkish agencies on the issue.

“About 5 reports on the issue in question are annually submitted to Interpol Central Bureau in RA. However, collaboration on discovery and prosecution of human trafficking organizers has been ineffective so far,” RA Police reported.
