Armeconombank signs $10mln syndicated loan agreement with EBRD

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armeconombank signed an agreement on the second tranche of syndicated loan at the amount of $10mln for the development of small and medium enterprises. This is the only syndicated loan in the Caucasian region under conditions of the current financial crisis, the press service of Armeconombank reported.

Four financial organizations participate in the crediting - EBRD, UniCredit Bank Austria AG (Austria), FBN Bank (UK) Limited (England) and Blue Orchared Finance (Switzerland.)

The syndicated loan consists of two parts: $4mln will be provided by EBRD for a 36-month term, while $6mln will be provided by another three organizations for a 12-month term with possible prolongation of the term for another 12 months. The funds will be directed for crediting of companies operating in various fields. Meanwhile, the minimum amount of one borrower's loan will total $500,000.
