Turkish President Abdullah Gul has signed a decree on formation of council on Turkic states cooperation.

The Turkic council, with Secretariat in Istanbul, is already nicknamed as “Turkic UN”.

The decision on creation of an organization to unite countries with a Turkic language as the state language was taken last October during a meeting of Turkish, Azerbaijani, Kyrgyz, Kazakh and Turkmen leaders in Nakhijevan, MIGnews.com reported
