Armenian students are invited to participate in ARPA Institute Invention Competition

PanARMENIAN.Net - The ARPA Institute of Lost Angeles (U.S.) announced an invention competition for Armenia's students. The deadline for submitting applications is February 15, 2011, the RA Ministry of Economy told PanARMENIAN.Net

The ARPA Institute Invention Competition is a university level contest designed to encourage university students active in science, engineering, mathematics, technology and creative invention, while stimulating their problem-solving abilities. This prestigious challenge also recognizes the productive relationship among students and their mentors that is essential to economic growth and leadership.

The invention, a reduced-to-practice idea or workable model, must be the work of a student or team of maximum 4 students, or a team with their university advisor.

The competition winners will be awarded monetary prizes ($2000 for the 1st place, $1000 – 2nd place, $600 and $400 for the 3rd and 4th places respectively). The contest is sponsored by the RA Ministry of Education and Science, National Assembly, as well as the ARPA Institute of Los Angeles.
