ARMENIAN ASSEMBLY OF AMERICA WILL SPONSOR UN CONFERENCEAugust 30, 2001 - 21:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Assembly of America will become one of the sponsors of the seminar, which will be held by the United Nations Department for Public Information (UNDPI) within the framework of 54-th annual conference for non-governmental organizations. The conference will take place September 10-12 in New York. Its subject is "Non-Governmental Organizations Today: the diversity of volunteer experience". In course of the conference, the aim of which is to study the experience of volunteers in non-governmental organizations, 30 seminars will be held, three of which will be financed by Armenian organizations.
