Dmitry Medvedev: agreement on military base deployment in Gyumri aims at provision of peace in Caucasus

PanARMENIAN.Net - Agreement on extension of Russian military base deployment in Gyumri aims at provision of peace and stability in Caucasus, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev stated.

As President Medvedev pointed out at the meeting with his Azeri counterpart Ilham Aliyev in Baku, “We are interested in preservation of peace and order. This is how the agreement should be viewed.”

According to Russian President, no principle changes were envisaged in a renewed agreement on extension of military base deployment, RIA Novosti reported.
