Arevik Petrosyan surprised at her possible appointment as RA CC member

PanARMENIAN.Net - Former vice speaker of the RA National Assembly, member of Prosperous Armenia party Arevik Petrosyan said that her resignation was a decision adopted by the party.

Nevertheless, she continues to be a member of Prosperous Armenia parliamentary group and will continue her activity in this capacity, Petrosyan told journalists.

Answering a question whether she is offended with the party decision, she said: “Is offense a political category?”

Commenting on rumors on her possible appointment as member of the RA Constitutional Court, Petrosyan said: “It is a surprise for me, but I would treat such appointment positively, as it is a great honor for any lawyer to take such post.”
